For therapists

Professional development through training and supervision

Supervision

Anne provides support and supervision for therapists, therapists in training, other healthcare professionals and social workers. As a supervisor, with her extensive experience in individual and couples therapy as well as in institutional work, she can help you find solutions in complex cases or in situations where you feel stuck. Anne has worked in the French public health and social services systems and has strong knowledge of French institutions and practices.

Training

Anne regularly offers training in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy for therapists in both French and English. EFT is a structured model of couples therapy formulated in the 1980s by Dr Sue Johnson and her colleagues and developed alongside the expanding sciences of emotions and adult attachment.

For therapists, EFT provides a new framework for understanding what is happening in couple relationships and offers tools for creating positive change and stronger bonds. In recent years, Dr. Johnson and her colleagues have further developed and refined this model and completed numerous studies. This substantial body of research highlights the effectiveness of EFT, showing that 70%-75% of couples move from distress to recovery and approximately 90% show significant improvement. EFT is also used with families and individuals. Anne is a certified EFT supervisor and trainer. She can also support you in your ICEEFT certification process.
