A day dedicated to therapist’s well being.
Those who take care of others need (and are even ethically obliged!) to take care of themselves. Many therapists spend hours attending to their patients only to go home to take care of their families–and forget themselves. Or they are isolated and without proper support. Psychotherapists are very exposed to professional exhaustion that can easily evolve into full-blown burn-out. Irritability, emotional numbness or hyper-sensitivity, fatigue and difficulty concentrating are some of the signs.
Anne proposes workshops devoted to the well-being and growth of therapists. These sessions will help you learn how to listen and attend to yourself, to take time for you and to receive the support of caring colleagues.
